UL Students’ Union Condemns all forms of Racism
It has come to UL Students’ Union attention that there have been reports of alleged racist incidents on campus in recent weeks.
First and foremost UL Students’ Union condemns all forms of racism and bigotry.
If any student suffers any form of racism or is aware of any racist incident or racist activities please report it to the Students’ Union via your SU Welfare Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org or to UL Presidents Office via UL’s complaints procedure. All UL students must adhere to the UL Student Handbook and it’s Code of Conduct (pg 49).
N.B. “it shall be deemed to be a major offence for any member of the Campus Community to: (a) Assault or abuse physically or verbally any other member of the Campus Community or any other person on the University Campus.”
The consequences for a student found guilty of such an offence may result in suspension or expulsion.
